Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
I’m Cami Storm and I’m an actress, nurse, director, producer, and model. Yes, I have worn lots of hats. Versatility and adaptability is a trait I’m proud of!
I fell in love with the world of acting and imagination as a kid and never gave that up. I resonate with characters that are underdogs and those who have come from disadvantaged backgrounds. I value my intelligence, strength, and passion as a product of my personal journey and struggles.
I hope to reach audiences who also relate to the struggles of overcoming socioeconomic and personal challenges. I recently began working behind the camera as a producer and director for the film “Dark Winter” that is now on the festival circuit. I particularly enjoy acting roles in the genres of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy.

What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
What makes me unique is my personal experiences and perspectives. No one has lived my life or has the exact same outlook or “why”. I incorporate these specific and strong nuances into my acting work.
As a nurse, I have been able to use my medical background in several roles, both commercial and theatrical. I’m also a great villain, I realized this when I played an evil cheerleader for Crypt TV. Since I read very warm, friendly and innocent. I’m the last one you would expect!
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
One of my favorite movies growing up was The Faculty. I remember having a crush on the red-headed football player who was one of the leads.
I landed a role on Animal Kingdom this past year and the night before I was on set I randomly watched that movie with a friend. The next day, I was shooting and realized that even with a mask, the director was really familiar. Turns out it was Shawn Hatosy, who I knew was a lead for Animal Kingdom but I didn’t make the connection or remember that he starred in The Faculty way back.
If someone had told my 14-year-old self that one of my childhood movie crushes would direct me in a TV role later in life, I would have died from excitement! But it’s funny how those types of experiences help you feel that you are on the right track.
I felt like I was exactly where I was supposed to be, doing exactly what I am supposed to do.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
One of my biggest challenges has been patience. I constantly have to remind myself that this industry takes time to establish for most people and that nothing is instant gratification if it’s real.
As most actors do, I struggle with comparing myself to others and trying not to take rejection personally. I don’t think I struggle with anything completely unique to me as an actor. We can all relate!
Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could elevate your career or business? Why these specific individuals?
Anne Dowd! I love this woman’s persistence and work ethic. I admire her so much for her mind-blowing acting and mindset. I have so much respect for her and I hope to one day share the screen with this badass woman and have a chance to pick her brain.
It would also be amazing to meet and/or work with Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence. I look up to these actresses for their strong, outspoken personalities, independence, acting skills, and great careers.
