Tyquon Taylor Is Set On Chasing His Dreams

Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?

I’m a content creator and influencer.

Growing up in Greenville NC, it’s a small city so there weren’t really a lot of people doing the same interest as me so I definitely had to grind and really decide if I wanted to make a career out of this. Be a star and chase my dreams and show people it’s possible, “If I can do it you can too”.

What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?

My work ethic and consistency and also my content is unique and different

During the pandemic, I started filming skits on my social media and challenged myself. The challenge was to post every day on my social media and I’m glad I did.

Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.

When I was growing up I always picked up my cousin’s phone and recorded when Vine came out I was on Vine doing videos for fun because I always wanted to make people’s day with my comedy videos.

I started out doing YouTube videos every weekend. I’ll go to the mall and film funny public interview questions and public pranks and then transition also to reaction videos.

What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?

The biggest challenge I had to face was not giving up.

What I’ve realized with being a content creator is you have to be consistent, patient and most importantly you have to be true to yourself.

Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could elevate your career or business? Why these specific individuals?

My first person would have to be Mr. Beast. Growing up in Greenville, NC, there weren’t a lot of influencers and I heard of him and also checked out his videos and I loved them ever since but what I really loved about his content is that it’s unique, it’s entertaining and he puts in the effort into all his videos. Most importantly, he helps out the community and I want to do the same.

The second person would have to be DDG. Started watching his videos in high school and I loved them ever since. It’s because his work ethic is crazy and I could relate to him. He’s a young YouTuber chasing his dreams and doing it while having fun.

Third and the last person is Michael B Jordan. He’s one of my favorite actors because he puts a message out in all the movies he plays in and also motivated me to not give on up my dreams just takes hard work and dedication.

My favorite quote that he said was “I’m not good at everything, I just do my best at everything” that stuck with me.
