Who is ARAM?
ARAM grew up in a musical family in the Dominican Republic, with instruments around the house from the start. Drums became his main instrument, and he went on to play piano, guitar, bass and percussion as well. According to his press kit, he studied at the Conservatorio Nacional de Música in Santo Domingo, with further studies at Berklee College of Music and at Point Blank Music School in Los Angeles.
Before moving to Miami, he spent years on stage as the singer and a musician in the band Be.Crazy, playing concerts and private events around the Dominican Republic, including Casa de Campo, Cap Cana and Punta Cana. Songwriting, production, mixing and engineering followed. His press kit puts that behind-the-scenes career at more than eight years, with writing and production sessions in the United States, the Dominican Republic and Colombia.

Which artists has ARAM written for?
ARAM says he has written and produced music for a long list of established Latin artists, including Lenny Tavárez, Olga Tañón, Ilegales, Manny Cruz, Víctor Manuelle, Axel, Jandino, Guaynaa and Piso 21, and that he has worked with the producer and arranger Sergio George. The credit he highlights most is “Pa’ lo bonito,” Lenny Tavárez’s 2026 salsa single, which Sergio George produced. ARAM says he is a composer on the song and that it has been charting on Billboard. Those are the kinds of rooms where a writer learns what makes a hook land, and he says he is now bringing all of it to his own project.
What does ARAM’s “Piña Colada” sound like?
“Piña Colada” is short and sunny: 2 minutes and 44 seconds at an easy 98 beats per minute, the kind of tempo that works at a beach bar or a late dinner that turns into dancing. ARAM describes it as a playful, feel-good record with Caribbean energy, made to get people moving and connecting. The press kit files it under Afro-fusion, mixing tropical and urban sounds with pop.
The cover art carries the same mood. ARAM appears in a car’s rear-view mirror, sunglasses on, with a small golden pineapple hanging below it and a palm-lined road stretching out ahead. The press kit lists the writer as Andrés David Suberví Ramos, with ARAM handling production, mixing and mastering.

Where can you hear more from ARAM?
“Piña Colada” joins a growing set of ARAM singles on streaming platforms, including “Protagonista,” “Pasajero,” “Vaina Rara,” “Gama,” “A Pesar de Todo” and “Copa de Vino.” A visualizer for “Piña Colada” is on his YouTube channel.
What’s next for ARAM?
His stated goal is a sound and identity people recognize right away, one that represents his Dominican and Caribbean roots while reaching Latin listeners everywhere. With songwriting, production and performance now pointed at one project, “Piña Colada” is the first clear look at what that sounds like.
