Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
Hey my names Juan Antonio Gomez Vazques and im an actor. Why? Its all I know. Ever since I was a kid I remember just watching TV and saying “I wanna do that”. My mom has quite a few funny stories about me telling her I was going to act at like 6 years old.
Why do I want to share my story? Well I want anybody to be able to connect with everyone no matter your ethnicity, race, beliefs etc. But i want to reach out to the latino community specifically because I want to be able to tell them that they can chase your dream! I know its not normal and even saying something like that to your parents makes you feel weird, off, gives you chills but thats what dreams do but you go after them at full force no matter how you feel, go for it!
Manscaped, Nudy Rudy, Faze Clan, Lead in a film Directed by Alyssa Toledo and Executive produced by Chase Stokes and Jonathan Davis star of the Netflix hit series Outer Banks are a few of my accomplishments. I want to keep it short and sweet, im grateful for your time and hope to hear from you.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
Compassion, being grateful, my work ethic and moving with love are what separate me from everyone else. Legacy, what I leave behind and what I want people to remember me as is something I keep to heart.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
My mom told me to get my sister from her friends for dinner. I went and the TV was on, we didnt have cable because we couldnt afford it at the time. This blonde guys dancing and singing this heart beat song was playing.
I asked “what is that”? My sisters friend Vanessa replied with something along the lines of oh its called “Austin and Ally”. I skipped dinner that day and asked if I could stay. I dont really rememeber all my feelings that day but I remember gettinf chills and feeling amazed. The rest is history!
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
Rejection is a big thing as an actor. Learning not to take it personally is a big thing to keep in mind. I meditate and do a lot of positive self talk, yes yes call me weird haha.
Keeping positive people around me and staying healthy mentally and physically are really crucial to me as well. But at the end of the day, this is what im prepared to do forvever because I love it, so at the end of that day loving it and loving the proccess will get you pass all the challenges!
Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could elevate your career or business? Why these specific individuals?
Noah Centineo, Jace Norman, and Ross Lynch are all people id love to meet to elevate my career and business. I look up to the way they navigate and carry themselves in such a hectic industry and have always looked up to them as Actors and people. Ive actually met Ross Lynch briefly all I got to say was, “I have so much respect for you and your the reason im doing what im doing”!
