Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
My name is Evette Morales, I am an actress, host, and producer. Currently focused on my show Face Behind the Dream, a show that focuses on highlighting others who are making an impact in sports. As an athlete I understand the importance of having opportunities, and the impact that covid quarantine has brought. Depression increased and the lack of community was avail. Sports is a community based, competitive, and stress reducing factor for most. With so much going on, the organizations that are here to connect us, make impacts, create change, empower our youth are out there. That is why Face Behind the Dream was created.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
I’m pursuing my purpose, it’s my mission! The overall goal isn’t about me- it’s about those who are pursuing their passion in helping others.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
Sitting at my desk having my list of things to do and I realized that I was done with all the tasks that were needed to film my very first season of the show. Hotels, travel accommodations, catering, location, production team, contact information, call sheets we’re booked and I had this rush of excitement like I started a journey of my own that will be full of highs and lows but I was ready.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
The biggest challenge is to have others believe in your dream. Every dream isn’t meant for everyone to see. That’s why I’m excited to have episodes ready for people to see. The saying of “you don’t know what you don’t know” will be at easy soon enough.

Mark Cuban… Fave Behind the Dream is a sports focused show, and Mark has the most respect and strongest connections with his team.
Robin Roberts… as the host of the show it would be in my best interest to have a mentor like her to grow my personal career, especially since she has a background in sports casting.
