Chok Suwanavisootr is an actor, writer, and producer, originally from Thailand where his love of movies (especially the horror genre), cinema, and all-around filmmaking aspects began. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 2015, he has starred in several projects, most of which are horror and comedy, which is his expertise and passion both acting and filmmaking-wise. He’s working up to be the next horror icon of Hollywood.
Chok Suwanavisootr is back in WIPED AGAIN, leading the sequel to his award-winning “unsanitary” short film WIPED (2019), which won him Best Ensemble Acting at Hollywood Blood Horror Festival and was released on Bluray/DVD by MRG in 2019. WIPED AGAIN will take place right after the tragic event of the first movie when a demon toilet paper attacks a group of friends while they are high on weed, and will introduce us to a new character (victim) and household setting that will surely please the fans of bad taste horror. WIPED AGAIN is slated to shoot sometime in 2022. In the meantime, you can check out this teaser poster that will make you think twice before wiping your bum.
Also In 2022, the world will see a new refreshing horror concept where humans will be (cold) brewed into a coffee with THE BARISTA. From the mind of Chok Suwanavisootr who created a demon toilet paper short film, WIPED (2019), Chok will also be taking the leading role of a young promising barista who holds a dark secret and passion that will give justice to all essential workers out there dealing with naughty customers. The Barista will also star Sélynne Silver (What Daphne Saw) and is currently in pre-production. In the meantime, check out this deliciously creepy poster for The Barista.
Aside from WIPED and THE BARISTA, Chok has been starring in other short films and feature films including a coming-of-age comedy, Electric (2019), from Darren Moorman, the producer of Same Kind of Different as Me starring Renée Zellweger.
Chok also scored a hilarious key role in a feature film, FREE BY NOON, directed and written by Sundance Collab Screenwriting Fellow, Lakpathy Wijesekara that’s set to be released one week in theaters this October and then on to a streamer later in 2021.
Chok also just finished filming an Untitled Homeless feature film directed by UCB Alumni, Johnny Caicedo, where he plays a role of a young vigorously goofy homeless man named Marty.
In late 2021 he is set to play a role of a mental patient, Joel, in the horror feature film, APNEA with a directorial debut of Dave Maggot (60 Seconds to Live) and Ivan Bernard Hruska, producer of awards winning film BLIND (2019) that starred horror legends like Caroline Williams and Sarah French and its sequel PRETTY BOY (2021).
Chok is also set to star in a leading role in NBD Production’s new untitled comedy thriller feature from Braden Swope, director of a new horror feature, HUMAN RESOURCES, which has its world premiere this August at Frida Cinemas.
