Meet Ramon “Rzr” Amparano: Carpenter By Day And Emcee By Night

Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?

I’m Ramon Amparano aka Rzr. I pay my bills by being a finish carpenter. I’m a father to 2 biological kids and 3 step kids, I have 9 grandkids at 40. My whole existence is a miracle.

I did a lot of years in prison, I was just paroled from Folsom a few years back and am now off parole. Let me repeat that, I’m off parole! That is a rare statement in California. I thank god I’m not one of those statistics. I’m a real emcee through and through. I make beats, I paint and I’m in the process of dropping a clothing line called Dubhygnz est 2057.

Every single breath I take is a blessing. I’ve beaten the odds and am thankful I’m alive and following my dreams. I almost died at work about 6 months ago. I was blacked out and my body was shutting down. My life would have ended and I never chased my childhood dreams. So after I recovered, I wrote my dreams goals down and I started pursuing them. I was set from that day on not to waste my second chance in life.

This is where I’m at in my life, full steam ahead on being a professional. I’m kinda overwhelmed but it’s okay, I’m doing the things I love.

What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?

I’m unique and set apart because well if you gave me a few seconds, there are no two of me. I’m more than just a DNA surviving, I’m a DNA growing into who I’m supposed to be. I’m extremely full of energy, I’m creative, I’m well ahead of trends.

I’ve always been just ahead of the curb which is crucial to being successful. I’m dedicated to making this work. No one can stop a person set on doing something if they want it bad enough, they’re gonna do it.

Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.

Enter the dark side as the black crow plays the fiddle. I’m enchanted by the beat, systematic wiggle. I let loose, it smacked me in the middle of my brain.

I took a few seconds, looked around at my art. The beat I made sounded hard, my flow is real and futuristic. I took a few minutes. Thank God and realized that I can do anything I want if I put my mind to it.

What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?

I would say being 40, I don’t feel it don’t act like it but numbers s don’t lie. That being said, it’s perfect timing everything is coming together right now and I wouldn’t change it for the world. My art is trippy and different which compliments my dubhygnz gear then goes well with my music. I’m just thankful.

Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could elevate your career or business? Why these specific individuals?

Techn9ne. I have been a fan from day one. Love the warriors and walls he tore down with his music. If you step back and go to when he was touring with insane clown posse, etc., he was taking a chance but he was taking it on himself. He knew what he could do, he just had to convince the world and he has. I would ask how to approach my career and what does he think work best for me.

The second would be Gabe from Legion because he has already dropped so much on me. By participating in the legion beats, I want to extract the rest of those secrets.

The third would be someone who can make investments. You have to spend money to make money but the key is to spend it on smart things, not blow through it.
