Multi-talented Scharliina Erapuro Is A Woman Of Purpose And Passion

Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?

My name is Scharliina. I’m a 22-year-old woman with a passion for expression, storytelling, songwriting, singing, modeling, and acting.

I am a top-charting Artist, Songwriter, and Producer with my music. I have also appeared in various TV shows, movies, and commercials.

Ever since I was young, my passion was clear. I was able to escape reality and dive into the world of art. Especially music, dancing, and acting. I wish to help and inspire other people with my storytelling.

My music has healed and helped me. And so I wish it can help someone else on their journey as humans. Most of my music is about the love and relationship you have with yourself. It’s very deep and internal.

I believe that love and happiness start from within. But some of my music is also simply made to enjoy and dance to.

What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?

I’m very sensitive and intuitive. Which many may see as a weakness in a hard-driven society. But thanks to my sensitivity and intuition I can empathize, see and understand things on a deeper level, and see things below the surface.

That also directly supports me in the healing that I do using my creative skills. When acting I truly become someone else, in my music, I become the deepest version of myself. And storytelling things that my mind can’t even cope with.

My strength would be my sensitivity, vulnerability, and intuition.

I’ve experienced a lot of things I couldn’t handle in my childhood, and I found my way to cope with the things happening through music and acting. These things have of course made me stronger in the long run. But they have also opened me up to this whole new world, and especially my art.

I hope that I can help others through my expression, that is why I do what I do.

Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.

When I was young, I always felt very connected to my purpose.

I used to dance, sing, perform, do comedy & sketches. But when I was 6 years old and got my first piano, there was just something about the notes on my piano that lit a spark in me. My whole body, soul, and essence felt so alive, safe, and free. It was that day I realized what really makes me – me.

I wrote my first song, about a worm named Matilda. And I knew how this could connect me to things that were outside of me. I have always sung in silence, hiding. I always played tunes and danced to the violins. I loved the feeling, that the music could bring. So I knew, this was meant for me.

It’s thanks to music, I’m here today. I can embrace the pain, through the music I make.

What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?

I’ve battled with a lot of things in my youth. I grew up with violence and abuse.

But the biggest challenge I needed to go through was winning the war within myself, which was a manifestation of all the hate they gave.

When I was 14, I developed an eating disorder to cope with the pain and all the memories I couldn’t escape. I hated myself and I fought so many years, trying to find my way back to a person who was lost. Because at the time, I wanted her gone.

Trying to find the missing pieces, so I could live free again was hard. But after finding the strength and finally getting the help, I grew stronger than I’ve ever felt. I found the deepest connection to my music again. I wrote about everything I felt when I was lost in the pain. Both internally and externally.

I’ve been running from myself. Learning this, I could understand both me and others better. We all battle with our own scars, and we act the best we can. But only hurt people, hurt people. And that brought me a lot of empathy and compassion. Both to myself and to other people around me, that may have hurt me or treated me wrong.

I learned that to truly love and accept others, you must love and accept yourself. All is possible and you can overcome anything!

Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could elevate your career or business? Why these specific individuals?

There are no 3 specific people. But the 3 types of people that I’d LOVE to meet to elevate my business is:

1. A mentor: someone in the industry to guide and help advise me. Someone who is an artist, songwriter or actress in the industry.

2. A great agency or management team in the acting industry who is constantly taking part in casting new projects. Someone who can be the helping hand in creating new acting opportunities. Because I truly love my acting expression, and I’d love to get to do it outside of Scandinavia also.

3. A professional music producer/mixer who I can work with long-term on my songs. I have so so many songs, but I’ve struggled to find someone who can produce my kind of music, and who wants to invest their time in my music and also believes in it.
