Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
My name is Nicole Parisi and I am a celebrity / model , hair / makeup and wardrobe designer. I have been in the industry for 11 years and started since i was 15 in the glam world. I have worked on many artists and models from all across different platforms. I went from being the assistant to having a team of my own who are now successful! I made myself by just being me, and not having more than 25K following. I have been on television shows and had my work on many platforms!
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
I am 3rd generation sicilian, I come from upstate new york, where life is nothing like in LA. I always wanted to work on videos and be in the film industry since I figured out what it is. I wasn’t the one who people probably guessed would give others the opportunity to make their career in Hollywood come to life; but I have! I am so proud of my team and all that we accomplish everyday. I can do all glam departments and I am equally passionate about 3 departments, and, you don’t meet many people who do all 3. that’s how I made my name.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
I was standing at the VMAs some odd years ago, and watched the work of, my then mentor and i, go up and open the show. I had a moment and i shed some tears! after it all ended, I remember knowing i was doing exactly what i was supposed to be doing. it was surreal and i’ve had many of those since. it’s overwhelming in the best way.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
There are many options in LA and you have to be so patient to make it happen for you, it i backed down at any time i would have lost my spot. being homeless to helping others make $ was the craziest change of life ever.
Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could elevate your career or business? Why these specific individuals?
Creative directors at record labels- if someone could see the vision i have for so many things other than just even glam i could show them what i got.
artist reps- seeing what i have to offer to them and what i have done already.
