Please introduce yourself, what you do, why you do it, and what you want people to know about you.
My Name Is Elijah Howard, I am a Singer, Songwriter, Director & Writer Based out of Los Angeles California.
As a Los Angeles Based upcoming artist, music has always been a part of my life. Releasing My First Album “The Summer Of 1997” in 2020 was my intro to music.
From my first ever studio song “Storm”, I am slowly evolving into my signature sound. From harmonic melodies to heavenly background vocals, and instrumental sounds incorporated from every decade.
My next album “Stardust” has just been released in October 2021, featuring 10 Hit 80’s Pop inspired songs. Also beginning at the end of 2022, I will be performing live for my album Stardust! Stay tuned for tickets to the live experience!
I am heavily influenced by artists such as Michael & Janet Jackson, Lloyd, Justin Timberlake, Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, and many more! I infuse my original songs with catchy tunes that will definitely grab your attention!
I definitely, without a doubt, break world records in the music industry very soon! Stay updated and watch how I rise to the top music charts!
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
The way I influence others around me is to start their own projects and give them the inspiration they need.
When others see me doing it, their first reaction is, “If he can do it, then so can I” and that right there is all that’s needed for them to be inspired.
I’m so different from the collective. From my sound, looks, and determination.
By the time I start a new project, I’m already thinking about the next.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?
The moment I realized music was my passion was watching Michael Jackson at a young age dominate the charts and gather so many awards!
I didn’t tell others really, they sorta figured it out when I started singing around the house and pretending to do imaginary concerts in front of them. Or for acting, I would have all my cousins come over for the summer and we would act out our favorite Tv Shows/Movies and I was always the director!
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to face and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge HAS to be working.
I’m not really into the whole 9/5 jobs, I’ve worked numerous jobs just for the “Income” to create what I really want to do in life. But I had to realize it’s the storm before the rainbows and clear skies.
The biggest challenge I’ve faced is overcoming doubt, and “What If’s” or “Maybe if I did it this way, it would get this much attention” but I’ve soon realized if it’s meant for me then it will find me.
The way I do it has already been written in the Stars. It’s already said and done.
If you had to pick the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could take your career (or business) to the next level…who would those 3 people be?
Janet Jackson, Jermaine Dupri, and Chris Brown.
