AMPERS&ONE is a seven-member K-pop boy group from FNC Entertainment whose members come from the United States, Canada, Australia and South Korea, and this month they are back in Los Angeles. The group is on the lineup for 82WORLD LA, hello82’s first two-day outdoor music festival, set for October 17 and 18, 2026, at Los Angeles State Historic Park. They arrive with the biggest year of their short career behind them: their fourth mini album, DEFINITION, set a new sales high for the group in April, and a 17-stop U.S. tour followed in May.

Who are AMPERS&ONE?
FNC Entertainment, the Seoul company behind FTISLAND, CNBLUE and SF9, debuted AMPERS&ONE on November 15, 2023, with a single album named after the group and the lead song “On And On.” The name pairs the ampersand, the symbol for “and,” with “one,” an idea of separate people becoming a single unit.
That idea fits the lineup. Kamden and Kyrell are American, Brian is Canadian, Mackiah is Australian, and Jiho, Siyun and Seungmo are Korean, according to Korean press coverage of their debut. Several members were already familiar faces before the group formed. Kamden, Jiho and Brian all competed on Mnet’s survival show Boys Planet in 2023, which gave the group a head start with fans who had followed them there. Their publicist describes the goal as a truly international 5th-generation K-pop group built to spread K-pop culture around the world.
What is AMPERS&ONE’s album DEFINITION?
DEFINITION is the group’s fourth mini album, released April 8, 2026. It has six songs, led by the title track “GOD,” with “Hit Me Up,” “What You Talking About,” “My Way,” “All Eyes On You” and “Tears In Your Smile” filling out the set. Coverage in Korea described “GOD” as drawing on traditional Korean dance and music, a thread you can see in the group’s current logo, an ampersand wearing a traditional gat hat.
The album was also a commercial step up. TenAsia, citing Hanteo Chart data, reported first-week sales of 152,092 copies, a career best and roughly 1.4 times the first week of the group’s previous release. The “GOD” music video has passed 6.9 million views on YouTube.

What came before DEFINITION?
The breakout was LOUD & PROUD, the third mini album, released August 12, 2025. It was the first AMPERS&ONE release to pass 100,000 copies in its first week, and its title track, “That’s That,” is still the group’s most-watched music video, now above 12.7 million YouTube views. Their team counts both albums as part of a hot streak that has taken the group past 3 million fans across social platforms, roughly double where they were a year earlier. The numbers we could check line up with that picture: the group’s Instagram has about 694,000 followers and its YouTube channel about 359,000 subscribers.
Has AMPERS&ONE toured the U.S.?
Yes, twice. The 2026 run, the “Born To Define” tour, opened May 5 in Washington, D.C., packed 17 U.S. stops into about a month, including a May 8 date at New York’s Gerald W. Lynch Theater, and closed May 31 at the Yost Theater in Santa Ana. The tour then moved on to dates in Asia and Europe, which the members documented in behind-the-scenes episodes on their YouTube channel. The Santa Ana show already brought them to Southern California once this year, and the festival brings them back to the city itself.
Where can you see AMPERS&ONE in Los Angeles?
82WORLD LA takes over Los Angeles State Historic Park on October 17 and 18, 2026. It is hello82’s first two-day outdoor festival, and AMPERS&ONE are part of a lineup built around K-pop and Asian pop acts. The group’s team says the members are in town ahead of the festival to talk about their latest releases, their tours, the 82WORLD stage and what comes next. For set times and tickets, check the festival’s official channels, and follow the group’s Instagram for day-of updates.
What’s next for AMPERS&ONE?
The group has not announced its next release yet. For now the focus is the LA festival and the fan base they have built over two U.S. tours. If you are new to them, start with “GOD” and “That’s That,” then work back to “On And On” to hear how far they have come in under three years.
