Austrian Singer, Caroline Kreutzberger Participates On ‘The Voice’

Please introduce yourself, what you do, why you do it, and what you want people to know about you.

Hi! My name is Caroline Kreutzberger, I’m an Austrian singer and entertainer. For me, music is a way to connect to each other without words. Since my participation at The Voice in Austria and the German TV show RTL Supertalent I have discovered how much I can give back to others through my singing. When I am on stage, I want to share music with my audience that makes us realize how powerful the magic of the moment is.

I am also very inspired by other languages and cultures, which is why I write songs in 5 different languages. We all share a common desire to be together again and to be powerful and I am happy to unite people from all over the world with a message in my songs, not only in different languages but also through one way of communication we all share: Music.

My new Italian song ‘Balla Con Me’ talks about how much I miss being together with friends and family, and how much I long to finally have a good time together again; to finally dance and laugh again. I want it to give my listeners the feeling of summer and freedom.

What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?

I have had the most beautiful experiences seeing others react to my music and the message behind it. I see myself not only as a singer and performer but very much as a connector and a voice for my community, called “Herzensmenschen” (german for “heart-people”).

I want to create a space where we can support each other, where feelings are validated, and where we can be ourselves with everything that makes us just the way we are. I am happy to inspire others to live their lives to the fullest and help them find a spark in their lives that keeps them happy, powerful, and motivated.

Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?

Since I’ve been 6 years old I knew that my dream was to become a singer. There has never been a doubt for me that changed my mind over the years, I just felt it in every cell of my body what I want to be and what I am good at to make a change in my own way.

Suddenly, the reading lamp in the living room became my spotlight and my family were my truest supporters to fulfill my dreams and start my journey to where I am now, still going. To this day when I’m on stage, I remember the happy faces of my parents and my grandparents that keep me motivated to share the same feeling with my audience and what makes me grateful for the opportunities that I have now.

What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to face and how did you overcome it?

The biggest challenge so far was the last 1.5 years in lockdown, when I wasn’t able to be on stage and make music like I used to. In that time I have encountered a lot of new challenges in my life that many people probably share: Learning how to deal with fear, with uncertainty, and finding hope to get back to our normal lives again.

This journey has inspired me a lot to learn more about myself and personal growth in difficult times, how to regain my strength, and learn to focus on what is really important in life.

For that reason I have also called my new album “Transformation”, which will be released in November 2021. It is an opportunity to transform through challenging times like these by bringing courage, inspiration, motivation, and strength to my fans and going back to a mindful and happy way of living together.

If you had to pick the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could take your career (or business) to the next level…who would those 3 people be?

Celine Dion, because I grew up with her music and have been looking up to her ever since. She is an outstanding artist, singer, and entertainer who I would love to tell how much impact she had on so many people. I wonder what she would say when I tell her that when I sang her song “Pour-que tu m’aimes encore” at a German casting show called “Supertalent”, it entered the charts for the first time in Germany!

My dream of course is to sing with her, but I would probably pass out, haha!

Then, another woman I absolutely admire is Oprah Winfrey – I am so impressed by her strength and her deep knowledge about life and I would love to ask her 100 questions about her unique mindset. I see her as my secret mentor and a big motivation in my life!

Last but not least I would love to meet Melissa McCarthy! Just to adapt a bit of her effortlessness and great humor and still learn from her as a powerful woman – who wouldn’t want that?
