Please introduce yourself, what you do, why you do it, and what you want people to know about you.
My name is Daniel Gottfried. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, raised in Jerusalem, Israel, and currently residing in Miami Florida.
I am an actor, singer-songwriter, entrepreneur, and owner of multiple businesses.
I’ve started acting professionally in TV/film two years ago but have done tons of professional plays since I was 7 years old! I’ve studied acting at UCF as well as ClassAct Studios in Orlando! Some of the film/tv projects I have been working on are MobKing The Movie, Ultimate Invasion airing on February 22nd, 2022 on Amazon Prime Globally, Sequence of Events, Trigonometry, and plenty of commercials.
I do acting because I have a real passion for it and absolutely love everything about it. I’m in the process of getting a manager to help further my acting career which I believe is important with my busy filming schedule & businesses! I am on different creative professional platforms that allow me to build my portfolio & name in the acting, casting, & film professional community such as IMDB Pro, Casting Networks, Actors Access, Mandy, & Back Stage.
I have my first single being released in the middle of next year with a music video followed. I decided to get into making music after my father died and although it’s my first single that I’m going to release, I know it will have a major impact on everyone around the globe that has lost a loved one. The connection is real and it empowers more love, promoting ways to stop bullying and hate while allowing everyone to connect losing someone you love. I chose to do this to try and uplift the world especially after everything we have been dealing with COVID.
Furthermore, I own a wholesale jewelry business called CelebrityDiamonds305. I started my jewelry business to save people thousands of dollars on wholesale instead of retail, allowing me to create a household name in the industry! The concept behind the name Celebrity Diamonds 305 is simple & to the point for me.
One day I just woke up & it clicked Celebrity Diamonds 305. 305 is a big area code in Miami and if celebrities see the name, they’ll know. Many celebrities have already copped a new piece from Celebrity Diamonds 305. I made a lot of custom pieces for different NBA players like Dwyane Wade, Udonis Haslem, Tre Mann and so many more!
I am also in the works of building my production company & studio in Orlando, Florida, focusing on movies, tv, and commercials with a major implementation of creating change for more people and casting more roles for people with diverse backgrounds. I will definitely let my fans know through my social media channels once I’ve started it & once more projects that I am in are released! I’m going to create a poll to allow my fans to pick my production company & studio name!
Another thing I love doing is always finding time to give back to the people in my community. As a philanthropist, helping people and giving back to the community like reading books to kids at different schools in the community is something I love doing.
I also have a passion for helping the youth so I found myself coaching an AAU basketball team. I love giving back to the community and giving to charities like autism awareness, Enlight Unite foundation and kids cancer.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
Some qualities that make me different & unique from everybody else are that I’m thoughtful, kind, loyal, caring, funny, and adventurous.
I served in the Israeli military and I’m a jack-of-all-trades that gets everything done!
Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?
The moment that I realized I wanted to do acting full time was after I watched Wonder Woman because Gal Gadot showed that with hard work, perseverance, patience, determination, drive, guts, and a no quit attitude, that anything is possible especially from such a small country like Israel where I’m from.
The first person I told was my mom because I wouldn’t be where I am today without her! She sacrificed the world for me to get to where I am today and I’m extremely humbled and grateful for that sacrifice!
Since that moment my life has been nothing but a blessing and I have never been happier! I wouldn’t change it for anything else!
I’ve been blessed and fortunate to have some bookings since I started this acting journey and I’m forever grateful and humbled to be where I am today knowing I have a bright future ahead of me in this industry.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to face and how did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge I had to face was when my father died two years ago. I overcame it by writing my song over these last two years to perfect it & by focusing 100 percent on my growing acting career.
If you had to pick the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could take your career (or business) to the next level…who would those 3 people be?
If I had to pick the top six people that I would want to meet that could take my acting career to next level, I would choose Robert Downey Jr, Kevin Hart, Adam Sandler, Brie Larson, Gal Gadot, and Tiffany Hasdish. For Celebrity Diamonds 305, I would choose Rick Ross, DJ Khaled, Devin Booker, Saquon Barkley, Ja’Marr Chase, & Flo Rida.
