Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
My name is Lacey Caroline and I am a 15 year old entertainer based in North Carolina who loves to act, sing and host. Honestly, my career is just getting started and I am re-focusing on it by going back to homeschooling, committing to weekly voice and acting lessons. I dream of being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse someday as I have recently watched the whole timeline and am slightly obsessed.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
I have been told that I am incredibly easy to work with and that I am wise beyond my years. I truly love and appreciate the filmmaking process and come alive when I am on set.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
So many little girls dream of being a movie star but to me it is so much more than that. As I said, I love the filmmaking process and the art of cinema. Like many others, I started in local theatre but just recently realized that this is what I want to do for my professional career. I know it is going to be hard and I hope I am one of the lucky ones who works hard and gets rewarded, but regardless, I love the industry and am 100% committed to it.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
We were preparing to move to Los Angeles in the Spring of 2020 and that all changed with COVID. The uncertainty of the environment in LA during 2020 and 2021 definitely changed my path a little, but I recommitted to getting NY/LA agency representation and management without being there and I was very fortunate to achieve those goals.
If you had to pick the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could take your career (or business) to the next level…who would those 3 people be?
For music – Taylor Swift. I love her story, I love her music and I really love her storytelling abilities. . For film – Jon Favreau would be incredible to work with and I am a huge fan of Valerie Weiss. She has directed so many different types of entertainment and her projects are definitely on my vision board.
