Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
I am an award-winning director and video production company owner. Creating is something that I’ve always loved and I now get to do it in so many different facets.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
I believe I am one of the most professional black-owned businesses in the industry. When starting my company, I heard horror stories about how unprofessional others were so I made sure to make those my company’s strongest points.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
As a kid, my father and I had dreams of starting an animation company together. I used to draw a lot and we practice projects together. We never finished that pursuit. Fast forward almost 20 years and I own a production company and we handle animation as well! I’m loving all of it.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
The biggest challenge was honestly Covid. We dropped to zero during all the speculation and had to rebuild.
Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could elevate your career or business? Why these specific individuals?
1. Jordan Peele – I’m a huge fan of thriller movies and love how he’s made a lane for himself. I’d like to shadow him.
2. Warren Buffett – He is simply a business guru and I’d love to learn from him.
3. Will Smith – I love his moves and creativity and feel that we have a ton in common and could do business together.
