I believe we all encompass the same innate qualities but with me I set goals which are personal. Some longterm some short …
I believe at a mere 11 bout to turn 12 I have accomplished what many dream of in a lifetime with my current claim to fame being a cast member of legendary Barry Jenkins Amazon “Underground Railroad” as Grace aka Fanny Briggs.
Which by the way has been nominated for the Golden Globes, 7 Emmy nominations, Critics Choice Awards & won Gotham Awards… many more; such a blessings for our cast & crew!
Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?Â
At age 2 I realize my candid love for the camera was my thang & soon after that I book my 1st Disney commercial I knew I was walking in my purpose!
Well me and mom use to watch Disney channel as a tot and I would say I wanted to be on tv! The power of words huh! Manifestations are real! Look at me walking in my purpose!
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to face and how did you overcome it?
Don’t really have any challenges because I have mastered early on that what will be will be and what’s for me will not pass me by. My mom sometimes rant because she is my protector but I always respond with that outlook so it changes her prospective.
She says she loves that about me… it keeps her balance. Know your worth.
If you had to pick the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could take your career (or business) to the next level…who would those 3 people be?
Billie Eillish, Zendaya, & Adele… I just admire them for their contribution to the industry & the girl power/confidence that’s our “Superpower” & with that we are always gonna win!
PS: My Bucket list entails Me being a Marvel Super hero …we all possess those empowering qualities!
