Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
I am an upcoming artist and army veteran from Louisiana; I write music, act, and model for various fashion shows along with many magazine publications. My passion is creativity, hence the diverse lanes of artistry I plan to market. I want people to know that all it takes is the initiative and faith of a mustard seed in order to begin making your dreams a reality in this world. Moving from a small town in Louisiana to one of the biggest up and coming industry cities in Georgia, this allowed me to expand my horizon to see exactly what my opportunities actually look like. Since arriving in Atlanta GA 2 years ago next month in April I have added acting to my repertoire; my plan is to touch bases with all creative aspects possible across the board, and in all genres in an effort to be the most diverse in creativity and expression.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
What I possess is the ability to become a chameleon when it comes to any task placed in front of me. I’m highly adaptive, friendly, ambitious, and fluent when it comes to my intentions, actions, and overall thought process involving the evolution of my craft.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
All throughout my life I’ve loved taking pictures. My mom hated how she could never get a candid shot of me because I was overly photogenic. Outside of photography work I was always into writing rhymes, stories and poems; most were fictional which led me to believe that my imagination would take me places a degree wouldn’t, because it can sometimes stunt the growth of creativity.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
When it comes to the biggest challenges to overcome I have found that my own personal criticism has been at the forefront; I have a hard time allowing myself to feel gratitude for my works if they haven’t propelled me further into the industry as of yet. Overcoming this challenge has consisted of believing in my God given abilities fully, and praying for more patience as I tackle more strenuous tasks to further my creative exposure.
Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could elevate your career or business? Why these specific individuals?
Alfonso Dolcé-One of my favorite of all time designers, and a favorite for his legendary male model talents.
Alton Mason-A personal inspiration for modeling I view as a staple in the industry for his quick rise through exceptional talent on the runway and countless campaigns he’s managed to grasp.
Tyra Banks- She gave so many aspiring models a jump start in the industry, and I only hope to have just as an impact once I’m stapled in the industry.
