Please introduce yourself, what you do, why you do it, and what you want people to know about you.
My name is Sha and I am the ceo and founder of Talent On Edge. I am a Talent Manager/Stud Model/Influencer/Host. Ever since I can remember I always loved to network I had my own business at a young age as an event planner with my wife and from there the idea of growing a business and networking I fell in love with.
I loved always connecting people and always loved to create projects with others when it came to my business years back. Eventually, when my business grew I ventured off into hosting events for entrepreneurs and their small business and the idea of me using Instagram to share and post their work or brand for me opened up even more doors.
I got to see people connect because of me and it became not just vendors but artists and other businesses that can benefit from each other and create.
As this grew, the Instagram grew and then I got picked up from the Chicago journey, LAWIRE, Nyweekly and more then I decided let me start a modeling agency under this name and it expanded to where my company is about now promotion, agency and models. I love helping others get their business up and out there.
I love to meet people and give them the tools they need to succeed, most importantly give motivation to start or continue. This was never hard work for me it has become HEART Work. I feel in love with giving back.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
Definitely my worth ethic for sure. If you see the amount of energy and dedication I put into everything I do you know I do it from the heart and put in everything I got into it.
Then of course my Vision, I love to create and go full force with my ideas and shed light to different areas of talent and different businesses. I created my platform to get to know everyone and help them network. My goal is to always help 1 person a day.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?
Once I started sharing artists and entrepreneurs and the following kept growing on the platform I knew this was something I needed to continue to do and to help others connect, collab and create.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to face and how did you overcome it?
Having the balance from being behind the scenes of management to now actually being in the spotlight with modeling and and getting known as a LGBT influencer and motivating others.
If you had to pick the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could take your career (or business) to the next level…who would those 3 people be?
Ellen Degeneres, JayZ, and 50cent
