Electro-pop superstar Kiesza is making her return to the dancefloor with Dancing and Crying: Volume 3, the latest installment of the singer’s dance series out today, May 8.
The release of this project follows the captivating singles “When I’m Dancing” and “Good Morning America,” both highlighting the political and defiant aspects of Kiesza’s artistry. Focused on dance, joy, non conformity, togetherness, and self exploration, this release reminds us that she’s still dance-pop royalty. Dancing & Crying: Volume 3 arrives with the poignant focus track “With You” and a vibrant visualizer to match.

“I was reminded, through this journey of Dancing and Crying: Volume 3, that all art has its own rhythm and the artists need to synchronize with it. This process pulled all of us into a little alternate universe, like an inescapable vortex we all fell into. It’s hard to complete projects that feel this way.
You feel lost when it’s over and sharing it can feel fragmented after being so immersed in the process. But I’m excited for everyone who now gets to experience these songs and fall into their own vortex as we all did,” shares Kiesza on the creative journey behind this EP.
“As a dance record, it leans slightly psychedelic at times. Much like Kiesza, it’s groovy and fearless. It’s genuinely a journey of dancing and crying all at once,” reflects executive producer Jess Cake on the project.

Meanwhile, in support of Dancing and Crying: Volume 3, look for Kiesza to return to the road this spring for dates along the eastern US seaboard, followed by club shows in France, Denmark, Germany and the UK and then back through the American northeast ending at Williamsburg Music Hall in New York City.
There is also a slot at London’s Mighty Hoopla Festival. Rye Rye joins as support on the USA East Coast dates. Kiesza tours with her dancer Jaylen Brown and her producer Jess cake onstage DJing.

ABOUT KIESZA
Kiesza stormed onto the scene in 2014 with her impassioned hit “Hideaway,” which has accrued over a billion streams to date. The accompanying one-shot video was featured on several Best of the Decade lists. Her debut studio album Sound of a Woman topped charts globally and sold over a million units.
With subsequent top tier collaborations including Jack Ü (Diplo and Skrillex), Deadmau5, and Francis Mercier, Kiesza has continued to evolve her sound and career independently, maintaining a strong and unique artistic profile despite a two-year hiatus following a serious car crash.
Her first independent album Crave received critical acclaim, paving the way for her most recent vision, a dance music series titled Dancing and Crying. In the summer of 2024, the single “I Go Dance” reached #1 on the US Dance Airplay Chart, marking another milestone in her career.
