My Name is Maurice Pierre, I’m a Rap Artist and Songwriter. I write and perform Hip Hop Music. I’ve been recording music since I was 11 years old, that’s 20 years. I love the culture, the experience, spirituality & the freedom of music. I’ve been blessed with the ability to fuse my words with sounds, I use that talent to inspire and motivate people universally.
I want to be recognized as a Top 50 Lyricist of all time. I got plenty of work to do, there are a ton of legendary artist, but I believe in my talents and I want to use them to motivate other artist and people to be the best they can be at who they are.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
I think I have my own way of interpreting my life experiences in a way where people can enjoy may story but also learn something from it or see something in there experience that they didn’t notice. I have a wise way of articulating in slang.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?
My mother raised me with Hip Hop, buy the time I was 12 years old after I wrote my first song, which was a gospel rap record, I knew since then that I wanted to record music, write songs & be a creative staple in my community.
If you had to pick the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could take your career (or business) to the next level…who would those 3 people be?
Definitely would have to be Ludacris, Snoop Dogg & Ice Cube. A lot of knowledge, lessons on creativity, finances & Longevity. These are some people that I’ve watched an there progression in this business is the motivation needed.
