Please introduce yourself, what you do, why you do it, and what you want people to know about you.
I am Bluu J King, an actor, model, dancer, and content creator. I moved to Chicago from East Saint Louis to pursue a career in acting. I used to work at The Christian Activity Center, a nonprofit organization where I learned I love to work with children.
My manager reached out to me and got me cast in my first stage play. Afterward, I started making content as my career began to grow with many blessings and opportunities. I also have an awesome TikTok profile that showcases my different styles of dancing and comedic flair.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
I am, hardworking, creative, imaginative, and love beautiful things. I hold a high value on family and close friends and will go to great lengths to defend them, no matter the price. I love to make everyone smile and he is also the only bird who loves fried chicken more than anyone.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?
I remember when I told my family that I wanted to be an actor. They were happy and supported my decision. They knew I was a star to began with, even when I was a little kid. Life has been amazing, my career climbing up the ladder of success. Meeting and greeting new people in the industry. Networking all over doing projects that I love.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to face and how did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge I’ve had to face was leaving home to pursue my career. Leaving behind my family and friends, I knew starting this journey I would be by myself in the big city of Chicago. I’ve overcome the challenge by networking and making new friends. Connecting and making relationships with people who have the same passion as me. I still talk to my family and friends back at home every other day.

If I had to pick the top 3 people I’d want to meet that could take my career to the next level it would be Denzel Washington, Regina King, and Samual L. Jackson.
