Please introduce yourself, what you do, why you do it, and what you want people to know about you.
Hey everyone, my name is Adrian Jauregui an emerging Pop, Electronic, Dance Singer-songwriter/ producer based out of Oakland CA. I create content and collaborate with some of your favorite Brands, Social Media Influencers, and Indie Artist.
I love all types of Genres and enjoy collaborating with other musicians to bring their music and art to life. My primary focuses are Pop, EDM, Electronic, Dance, and Rnb.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
Over the years I’ve developed skills and abilities from producing music to singing-songwriting. I’ve challenged myself and developed diverse skills as a musician to have the ability to promote myself as if I were signed to a major label.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?
At the age of ten, I attended the Los Angeles Music and Arts school in hopes of pursuing a musical journey as a percussionist. My it moment was listening to Miles Davis “Kind of Blue” Album on my first day of class and I fell in love with the sound of Jazz.
I remember telling my mother, “Mom can we please stop by the store and pick up a copy of Miles Davis”. I really enjoyed the sound design, production, and style. I knew then I wanted to pursue something with music.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to face and how did you overcome it?
Rejection, Failure, and Disappointment. Overall, I’ve learned to adapt and accept constructive feedback. Although it may be tough to hear an idea of yours isn’t good. I’ve realized music is subjective and there is always room for improvement.
