Introducing Zenna Ira: The Artist Whose Talent is Inspiring the World

Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?

My name is Zenna. I am a singing champion, US National Anthem singer, dancer, and theater actress.

What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?

I am unique because as a teenager I have achieved so much by volunteering and sharing my talents to my Church and Community. I have been performing in events for a good cause as well as in many Bay Area festivals that promote cultural diversity and talents. At the age of 14, I have been invited to sing the US National Anthem in sports events, and festivals. I have also won in singing competitions, and I was the 2020 Golden State Peoples Choice Monthly Champion. My talents gave me opportunities to be recognized as an artist as I appeared in tv shows, online interviews, and featured at magazines and newspapers.

Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.

I started singing at the Church choir at 6 years old. I was asked to sing the Psalm at this young age. The parishioners praised me for singing well, and that motivated me to develop my skills by professionally taking voice and piano lessons. I joined a singing contest and I was the champion. This is where my journey and my career as a singer all began. At this moment, I still continue to learn new styles to further enhance my talents as an artist.

What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?

My biggest challenge is how my voice was changing as a teenager. It was hard for me to reach the high notes from the songs I used to sing. I have overcome this challenge by continuing my voice lessons so I can learn new techniques that will help me sustain those notes and pitch. I make sure that I also manage and balance my time well so I will exceed both in academics and in my passion for singing.

Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could elevate your career or business?  Why these specific individuals?

The top 3 people I’d love to meet are Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, and Celine Dion. I was so inspired by their music and singing styles as well as with their amazing talents. People love them because of their contributions to the music industry.
