Following “I Love This,” “To Be Alive,” “Armed” and “Message,” multi-instrumentalist, electronic music producer & artist Lamorn (Seth Person) has revealed (May 16) his next single to appear on his debut full-length artist album Forever (mau5trap) due out this spring with “This Isn’t Real.” Listen now at: https://mau5trap.ffm.to/thisisntreal
Finding inspiration in what he calls the “warmth” of Daft Punk, Justice, and Tame Impala’s music, Lamorn’s “This Isn’t Real” kicks off with a steady bass-guitar and drum beat groove and then transforms into an illusional slow burn of liquid synths and melting vocals.
Says Lamorn about the track, “‘This Isn’t Real’ was one of my first ventures into writing higher bpm dance music and it feels like the track that will carry through the most into my next musical ventures after Forever. The vocal line is off an unreleased track I never finished during my Encore EP days, so it was cool to give it a home in a track I feel great about.”
Meanwhile, Lamorn will set off on his ‘Forever’ 18-date national U.S. tour this summer to showcase material from his new album and his other releases, launching June 7 in Chicago. Look for him to perform a live set at unique music venues across the country including 7th St. Entry in Minneapolis, DC9 in Washington D.C., ACL Live in Austin, The Echo in Los Angeles and Zone One in NYC just to name a few.
