Please introduce yourself, what you do, why you do it, and what you want people to know about you.
My name is Sam Vicchiollo and I am a creator, influencer, model, and aspiring actor. I do all of this because my favorite thing in this entire world is being creative and using my creativity every single day.
I grew up in a very small town In Wisconsin, where this type of career was never possible. I’m so blessed to be in the position that I am today and that’s why I work so hard to keep growing.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
I think the quality that makes me different from everyone else in this industry is my compassion and my authenticity. I have met so many people who pretend to be something that they’re not or people who put on some sort of façade as soon as they move to LA.
Being who I am has gotten me the following and the opportunities that I’ve always wanted, so why would I ever change that. I firmly believe that being a good person will get you so far in this world and I try to live by that every single day.

Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?
I think that moment for me was when I posted my very first TikTok ever. The first TikTok that I posted garnered 2 million views and I was instantly hooked on the virality of that video and the potential that this platform could give me in the future.
I realized that this was what I wanted to do, and I at least wanted to try pursuing it as hard as I could. I told all my friends and all my family and at first, none of them supported me. But I chose to believe in myself and pursue it anyways and ever since that moment, I’ve only bloomed.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to face and how did you overcome it?
The biggest challenge I had to face was convincing my parents that Tik Tok is a respectable career. Like I said, where I grew up, creative jobs and abnormal careers are not socially acceptable. I literally had to show my parents paychecks in order for them to finally respect what I do.
But while this was a challenge, it never deterred me from continuing to pursue it.
How did you get your start in content creation on TikTok? Tell us about your first video that went viral.
I got started on TikTok when I downloaded the app my senior year of high school. I went home and made a video as a joke because I was bored and that video somehow hit 2 million views.
If you had to describe your content in 3 words, what would they be?
If I had to describe my content in three words, it would be funny, authentic, and comforting.
What is your favorite part of creating content for an audience?
My favorite part about creating content for my audience is reading what everyone has to say about it. 99% of the responses I get from my content are positive, and I love to read how my videos have impacted other people.
It motivates me to keep doing it because I know I’m helping so many people in so many ways.
Describe your creative process. How do you decide which content to post?
I am constantly thinking of video ideas. Whether it be a trend or completely original content, any time an idea strikes my brain I write it in my notes and execute it later.
My favorite type of content to make is more thought-out, high-production videos that require a lot of time and energy to make because the final product is so much better.
You recently moved to LA. What do you love about the city and how has it inspired your content?
I absolutely love LA. Everyone in LA is so creative and so individualistic that I am creatively inspired every time I leave my apartment. Living in a city with so many creatives really builds a community of people who want to make an impact in this world and I absolutely love it.
What is one thing about being a content creator that you didn’t expect when you started?
One thing about being a content creator that I didn’t expect is how much my content affects my mental health. Sometimes when my videos don’t do well or I’m in a funk and have a creative block, I take that so personally and let it affect my mentality.
Content creation is a full-time job in the sense that I never stop thinking about work. Sometimes that can really drain me, but I’ve found ways to cope, and I continuously remind myself why I love doing what I’m doing.
What is one interesting thing your fans don’t know about you?
One interesting thing my fans don’t know about me yet is that I am beginning my pursuit of acting. I used to act back in high school, but I gave it up when I went to college.
Now that I’m living in LA and have so much more support and opportunities with acting than I ever had in Wisconsin, I really want to pursue it full-on.
What advice would you give to other people who want to become content creators?
My advice to other people who want to become content creators is to 100% be yourself. You will not become famous by copying other people’s ideas or climbing the social ladder. Produce content that has purpose and meaning and gives your audience substance.
Absolutely never give up because you never know which video is going to blow up.
What are your professional goals for the next year?
My professional goals in the next year are to graduate college, get signed to a major modeling agency, and land my first acting role. These are all huge and challenging goals to have but I dream big and 100% believe in myself.
Do you have any projects coming up that you can tell us about?
One project that I can hint to is that I will be appearing in a music video sometime in October, but you’ll have to wait to find out more 🙂
If you had to pick the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could take your career (or business) to the next level…who would those 3 people be?
If I had to pick the top three people I’d want to meet that could take my career to the next level, it would be Zendaya, Michael Yerger, and Kris Jenner. All these people are huge inspirations to me, and just being able to talk to them and hear about their pursuits would absolutely change my life.
