Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
I’m a very positive person who has been through a lot.
I’ve never wanted anyone to feel sorry for me. I want people to learn from me and grow from me and my experiences.
But most of all I want them to know I’m a real estate investor, I own a barbershop, I co-own a nightclub, and co-own a real office.
I currently have about 10 fix-and-flip projects going on as we speak. I can do this because of God who strengthens me, never allowing myself to fall victim to my circumstances. Just grow from your circumstances. Most of all, I’m a god-fearing man.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
I’ve been incarcerated and I lost everything.
So with this experience, I was able to rebound from and become a very positive motivational speaker, for people who are either a.) Going thru what I’ve been thru or are b.) They have been thru what I’ve been thru. By spreading a positive message this doesn’t have to be your end result.
What makes me special is I don’t take no for an answer and I will never not believe in myself. I’m one of the most motivated people I know.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
When I was broke and I hit rock bottom. I learned that there was only one way and that was up.
I started thinking to myself there had to be more to life. I definitely knew I needed more.
At my lowest point is when I realized I had found my purpose and my passion. When I started seeing I was the determining factor for my life.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
I had to find my way because I didn’t have a clear-cut mentor.
I had to learn the business myself. I grew from my experience and I was never given a silver spoon.
By learning from trial and error. What made me win is the fact that I wouldn’t give up because I knew this is what I was meant to do.
I was born to be an entrepreneur.
