Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
I am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana currently residing in Los Angeles, California I’m an actor, writer-producer, and inspirational coach. At a young age, I discovered a passion for entertaining people by intimating my favorite television shows and movies from the 80s and 90s (Martin, Roc, ADW, In Living Color, Boys In Hood, etc).
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
What makes me different is I love to push myself and others by challenging us to do and make better decisions. As an inspirational being, I enjoy helping others conquer their fears and make them believe in themselves. I admire hearing Tre keep me motivated or I follow him to witness the inspirational messages. I don’t do that for likes or fame. Everyone needs a push from time to time including some of Hollywood legends, the health care worker, teachers, etc
Believing in yourself is the major key
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do. Paint a vivid picture of the experience so readers can take the journey with you.
As an entertainer when I felt that adrenaline rush when I walked on stage all eyes were on me. I had to bring it
When I realized it was my vision to make sure actors and crew have the things they need to bring out their creativity. When I helped someone overcome depressions who were on the verge of suicide. They were alone and felt like nobody wanted to hear them out.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
One of the biggest challenges that I had faced was missing the deadline of the submission. I managed to work on the production anyway by working as a Production Assistant. I wanted to be on that set and I spoke it into existence.
In a way, I feel like I won. It may have not been the role I wanted but it something
Don’t lose hope
Speak it into existence
If you had to pick the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could take your career (or business) to the next level…who would those 3 people be?
Well two of my idols are no longer here
I would’ve loved to meet the late Mr.John Singleton and Bernie Mac. Mr. Singleton gave my favorite actor an opportunity whom I would love to meet Morris Chestnut (Boy in the Hood). MC shocked me in his 1999. When he expressed so many emotions in the condo scene fighting with Taye Diggs(Harper). He grabbed my attention at 15 years old.
If I had to pick another it would be Mr. Robert Townsend. He’s a great underrated actor and deserves his flowers while he’s still here. I’ve admired his work growing up and what he stands for. I just met Will Smith working on a movie recently filmed in Louisiana. I was a set costumer on that film.
