The man behind Nobody, Tuomas Kauppinen comments the EP:
“Shadow Companions is a study of an old, gnarled family tree, beaten and crooked from violence and yet sprouting with new life that promises redemption. It is a mixture of dark country, folk and blues from various corners of the world, delivered by mainly acoustic instruments. It is a tortured path narrated by a passionate student of human nature.”
