I am “ELZ MILLION”, a recording artist from the Bronx New York. My genre is rap! Hip hop is my foundation which helps me venture into different genres in rap like trap, drill, and bop.
I’m a highly-anticipated artist with sharp bars and charisma down to my metaphoric schemes. Music is my everything. I want the people to know I have been very patient waiting on my time and perseverance means a lot.
I’m still mastering my craft but the world going to know my name “ELZ MILLION”. I got a story to tell!
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
Words can’t really put me in a category. My craft is always dynamic, I’ve generated my own sound throughout the years which is indeed unique.
I’m intrigued by concept and substance and I love to fluctuate with topics and real-life events going on in the world. It’s not hard for me as an artist to talk about something that ain’t true or has never happened! But it’s no cap in my rap for real!
Everything I talk about, I’ve experienced or I am bound to experience. There are times when I have to just chill and maybe go on a little vacation or play the trenches just to have more stuff to talk about.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
I remember sitting in the tub at a very young age with the bathtub water running, and me trying to express my feelings and put them into words.
A lot of my words would express how my father wasn’t around and how I felt at the time. My mother would listen through the door and give me a light review every time I came out from the tub like, “I heard you rapping in there boy.”
It was the only thing that soothe my emotions and made me feel like I was clearing my head. At that point, I knew this was the only way I love expressing myself and it was my purpose.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
Sometimes in life, we make bad judgment calls due to people, places, or things we put ourselves around.
I was real careless at a point in my life that confined me to humiliation to the point where I couldn’t recognize myself or my positive attributes. I lost faith in myself due to exposing my lifestyle at that time. I was at rock bottom, the lowest point in my life and honestly, it took a lot of strategies mentally to rebuild my confidence level.
I would never forget what hardship I had to face and what I had to overcome to feel invincible in the music industry. Now, I’m a Mack truck hitting 100 on the interstate, who?! Getting in front of me!
Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could elevate your career or business? Why these specific individuals?
If I could pick 3 inspirations that could elevate my career it would first have to be DJ Khaled. This man has a lot of motivation installed in his messages that I can use for longevity.
The second would have to be Drake due to how relatable I feel towards him down to family, down to ethnicity, down to the struggle of manifestation. That story about that roll Royce is forever in my book!
And number 3 would be the goat, Jay Z! I want to talk to a billionaire that’s come from where I come from and that I can relate to.
