Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
Hello my name is Keo Valentino professionally, I have been doing photography for nine years, and the experiences and people I’ve met along the way have been extraordinary. I practice all forms of photography, but my specialty is portrait photography and High fashion. Currently, I’m joining a new ave and getting into product brand shooting.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
Well, I’ve always been very serious when it comes to my craft, and my creativity doesn’t fall short either. I believe I’m different in this industry because I don’t have a set look or persona to work with. With me everyone gets a chance that has the mentality and energy to do the work required. I accept all sizes, heights, and colors because you never know what may be more appealing in that season.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
Well, I started out modeling way before I started my photography since the age of 14. So I have some years and experience in the industry. I knew I was doing exactly what I wanted to when I picked up my first camera to go behind the scenes. I wanted more creative control and have more creative vision for projects.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
My biggest challenges when I first started was finding my signature style of photography and gaining clients. I started focusing on my photography being different so I chose a theme of dark photography which brings out the shadows more in photos. once I found my niche I created a new style, that I noticed most photographers followed after my presentation. as time went on my work started gaining more momentum and I got to the point of where I didn’t need clients, because I was getting booked for multiple projects.
Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet?
I really don’t have any true Idols because I strive to be the best, but if I had to choose it would be corey knott a very big creative director out of atlanta I’ve always admired his work.
