Jerrell Rose, Shocks His Friends With His Career In Music As A Music Producer And Writer.
Please introduce yourself, what you do, why you do it, and what you want people to know about you.
I am Jerrell, in the music scene, I go by Lyfestyle Muzik. I am a music producer, writer, musician and artist. Music is like the love of my life. It speaks to me in no other way anyone can verbally speak to me.
Whether there’s a lyric or just an instrument. I just want people to know that I am a humble yet talented person and that I want to be successful in everything that I do.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
Though I consider myself to be an extrovert and people person, I can have introverted tendencies.
So it typically comes to shock when people hear what I do. Like a silent monster. I have friends that have grown up with me not be aware of certain musical skills that I have.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?
In High School, I was writing “lyrics”. A friend we call “Boomer” said I should rap. I told him I didn’t want to. He said you can be a Ghost Writer and won’t have to be an artist.
At that moment I thought maybe I can be a producer. As long as I can be a part of creating. And now I do it all.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to face and how did you overcome it?
Being discovered has been difficult. Being able to get major placements. I have been able to keep up the consistency with people I know or have been introduced to. I still have a ways to go.
