Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
Hi all! I’m AB, CEO, and Founder of Clicks Talent. Clicks Talent specializes on 2 fronts:
- We provide high-quality content creators for new and emerging short-form video / live stream platforms.
- We do pretty amazing TikTok Marketing with our network of 3,500 TikTok influencers. We have personal relationships with every one of them to ensure effectiveness and quality when running campaigns.
Working in social media has been an amazing experience. I love working with all these amazing and talented people, it can be hard at times but overall it’s an extremely fulfilling experience.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
I think it comes down to compassion, ethics, and honesty. Most people in this industry are after a quick buck. They want to exploit whoever they can as much as they can and then move on to the next victim.
I’m all about what’s “right” regardless of if it’s written in a contract or not. My goal is that the influencers I represent are always protected and make money before I make a cent.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
The day I made enough to move out of my parent’s house. I realized I had something real and that I loved it. That’s when I understood I was doing what I was meant to do.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
Back in 2020 about 1.5 years into my business I was living in China with my wife. From the day I got to China things started taking a turn for the worse in the business. Little by little I started losing clients, by being in China it was becoming increasingly hard to find clients and set up meetings due to the time difference as well as apps being blocked in China (like TikTok and Instagram).
In the month of October, we sand to just $700 of profit. It was a low blow for me. I got extremely depressed and started drinking a lot. One night, at 1:30 am as I’m crying to myself I realize I need to snap out of it.
I took a shower went to sleep and when I woke up, I spent 12 hours on my computer and ended the day with a new client. Things only went up from there.
Who are the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could elevate your career or business? Why these specific individuals?
Logan Paul – I always was a fan of his business mind. I would love to talk shop with him.
Mark Manson – I read every single one of his books, blogs, and newsletters. He has been a big motivating factor in my life for getting married, serious about business, and living my best life.
Ryan Reynolds – The guy is a legend. This needs no explanation.
