Please introduce yourself. What do you do? Why? What do you want people to know about you?
I am who I am, Adam Dennis Geiger. I act, model, and produce. Born in the small southern urban city of Salisbury, North Carolina I always had the same intentions and thoughts that I do now in New York City.
To live and discover life, to embody and deliver truth. I was on my own since before 16 and stuck by that philosophy which has directed and guided me to found a successful theatre presentation company based in NYC, and now with plans to go nationwide.
I recognize I’m standing on the shoulders of giants, as I studied with legends and pioneers of the industry and mentored with honorable producers in theatre and film. I am launching a film production company now while realizing my first feature film and working on some lead acting roles.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
We’re here for a bigger purpose in my understanding, and in realizing that we are lead. I’m here to share truth and communion through my art. Thankfully I have a connection and embrace for all the life experience I have been given, so I can find so much to draw from and relate with others. Intending to always serve that transcendent essence as we discover this together, I feel so connected and genuinely excited for what’s to come and the power we have together.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you’re doing what you were born to do.
Have you ever read something and felt like it was talking to you, thought of someone and they called or texted? Being and becoming, this duality is what I experience as an actor on projects and in my life. That certain scripts, characters, and events are meant to unfold the way they do.
I moved out to NYC with no connections or funding, along the journey I met people I used to watch in movies, studied and revived plays with the likes of people who had only existed in my imagination, and seeing now the thoughts I held, looking back it’s less like coincidence to me and more like guidance. I always felt like I was behind the 8 ball then I realized I was here, holding a thought and seeing it come to pass.
You can have trust in that you are molding and being molded by a higher order that is placing you right where you need to be. With confidence, courage, and integrity you can let go and see that everything is synchronizing to work with you and declare through you this experience. My company name, Creode is this concept that with a destiny everything that comes in your path you will correct yourself to that ultimate.
What’s been the biggest challenge you’ve had to go through and how did you grow through it?
The biggest challenge is learning to trust and if your heart is in the right, open, honest place, it is all working out for you.
