LA-based singer-songwriter Anabel Englund returns with a new single, “a lesson in chemistry,” out today, October 6 on Ultra Records. A bouncy pop-house party starter with Y2K sheen, Englund imagines herself as a student in a fantasy high school setting, getting a lesson in love for a change.

Once again, Anabel Englund teams with co-writer Lena Leon and producer Adam Novodor on “a lesson in chemistry.” It follows “Strangely Sentimental,” the strut-worthy dancefloor anthem that put Englund’s lyricism on full display and landed her her ninth #1 U.S. Dance Radio hit. Shares Anabel, “‘a lesson in chemistry’ is a story of a heartbreaker who gets their heart broken for the first time. It is a fun party bop to listen to in the car with your friends or getting ready for a night out.”
The release of “lesson” follows Anabel’s recent support play for Tiesto at the Los Angeles Historic State Park.
