Model & Photographer Lola Megbolugbe

Get Inspired By Model, Blogger, & Photographer Lola Megbolugbe, Who Will Stop At Nothing To Achieve Her Dreams

Please introduce yourself, what you do, why you do it, and what you want people to know about you.

Hi! My name is Lola Megbolugbe and I’m a OC based model, blogger, photographer. I have always been creative since I was a child and I love what I do and meeting and connecting with other creatives in the industry.

I’m passionate about modeling and I do a little bit of blogging on my website. I’m also getting into photography and currently building my photography portfolio. My focus for photography is portraits, fashion and lifestyle content.

For modeling my area of expertise is beauty and lifestyle although I do other kinds of modeling. I also am a believer in Christ and volunteer at my church every week. I love the beach and indie pop is my favorite genre of music.

What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?

People I’ve worked with in the industry have told me I’m very kind, friendly, personable and professional all at the same time. I believe everyone has a story and we should treat others with respect regardless of our differing opinions or views.

Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?

That moment when I realized that I wanted to work in the entertainment industry stems all the way back to high school. People would always tell me I should model that I have a unique look and that I would be successful.

As for photography and blogging, I’ve always had an interest in both but decided more recently to start pursuing it professionally. Hmm. Who did I tell first? I’m pretty sure it was one of my good girlfriends from high school. It has honestly been a dream. I didn’t pursue it right away but when the timing was right I have never looked back.

What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to face and how did you overcome it?

The biggest challenge I’ve had to face is getting consistent paid work. As a model a lot of people expect us to work for free. I have done a lot of collab work but I starting to get more paid jobs probably since 2 years ago.

If you had to pick the TOP 3 people you’d want to meet that could take your career (or business) to the next level…who would those 3 people be?

  1. Naomi Campbell
  2. Tyra Banks
  3. Giselle Bundchen
