Now After Nothing Share Video For ‘CRIMINAL FEATURE’ Debut EP: Artificial Ambivalence Out September 13

Select Live Dates in Atlanta, Charleston, and Savannah

“Fixation Fantasy is a seductive, introspective, and mesmerizing goth track: Spatial intricately weaves social, political, and personal narratives within the instrumentals to add depth and darkness that resonates with lost and misunderstood souls.” Post-Punk

On August 15, 2024 – Atlanta, GA: Atlanta darkwavers Now After Nothing share a new video for ‘Criminal Feature’. The song is about the enmeshment of politics and religion and a commentary on the “Damn, the separation of Church and State” mentality in this country.

Matt Spatial explains: “I’m not anti-religion per se but I am very anti-abuse of religion, abuse of politics, or abuse of anything for that matter, when it’s (mis)used to manipulate, and/or harm others for some sort of personal gain as its end goal.”

The ‘Criminal Feature’ video is a true story of ‘everything happens for a reason’. Spatial talks about the process: “I had commissioned a videographer to lead the charge on the video from concept to completion.  I wasn’t in love with the concept they had presented to me but knowing that I had an EP to complete and only so many hours in a day, I apprehensively agreed.

The videographer mysteriously ghosted me as I tried to get the ball rolling on the video, however, and I was left again to my own creativity to get it completed. The resulting video is something that I can now look at and feel quite thankful that I was gifted the opportunity to present my original vision for.
