My artist name is SAWZE. I’m a multi-genre recording artist from Pittsburgh, PA.
I have a strong hip-hop background but have transitioned to a more melodic type of artist.
Everything I’ve ever released has been recorded off the top of my head (nothing pre-written). My method is different and effective. I want you to feel my music more than hear it.
What qualities make you different and unique from everyone else in the industry?
I freestyle everything.
Describe THAT moment when you realized you wanted to do what you do now. Who did you tell first? What has it been like since that moment?
I’ve been an artist for about 4 years but became a full-time artist about a year ago. I love what I do.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve had to face and how did you overcome it?
Financial struggles. I still haven’t fully gotten past them.
I did start a business to drive revenue. But it’s a step at a time.
